You’re at a party and people are buzzing around chit chatting with each other in groups, mingling. You walk up to someone, getting into their face, so closely that they can feel your breath and you begin to sell yourself and your art while at the same time chewing on skewered, sesame chicken.
You wouldn’t do that in real life because that’s not how you conduct yourself in public and gain relationships.
Well the online world has a conduct policy and similar rules to engage and build relationships. Understanding that relationships are key to building business and how to cultivate them on the different social media formats; Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Tumbler… you MUST learn the DO’s and DON’Ts.
